No special access issues
Dravec Sector
Access: From the Vabec Pass, follow the asphalt road that begins to descend towards Poland. After about 200m, reach the second parking lot located on your left at the edge of the forest. A dirt road marked with a blue hiking sign leads into the forest. After about 100m, it opens onto a large plateau; stay close to the forest edge on the plateau.
At the first junction, where the path on your left enters the woods, continue straight along the forest edge for about 50m to the next junction. Turn into the forest at the tree marked with the blue hiking sign and follow the forest path for approx. 150m. At the cairn (mužík), turn right toward the hunting stand (deer stand).
From the stand, cross a large, "magical" meadow (overgrown in some spots). Stay on the left side of the meadow and head downhill. The last few dozen meters lead through a small wood until you reach the Dravec rock formation.
Baterka Sector
Access: A path leads southeast from Prasknutá skala into a small valley, directly to Baterka. It is approximately a 5-minute walk through juniper bushes and finally across a marshy strip to the small meadow below the rock.
Prasknutá skala Sector
Access: From the rest area at Vabec Pass (699 m a.s.l.) / bus stop, turn south at the hiking signpost. Pass an unfinished house where a well-trodden path leads straight to the rock – about a 5-minute walk. The rock is visible during the drive from Stará Ľubovňa to the pass, as well as from the pass itself.
Note: The access route will change over time based on an agreement with the owner of the unfinished house. We will provide updates regarding an alternative access route to the Baterka and Prasknutá skala sectors.
