Limited roadside parking is available in laybys, though these fill quickly on busy days due to the area’s popularity with walkers. A paid car park at the top of the road offers a more gradual and convenient approach to the edge boulders.

Adders are occasionally found in the area, and ticks can be present during the summer months, so appropriate care should be taken.
