Parete posta all'imbocco del territorio formazzino, dove la valle si restringe e forma numerosi bastioni e imponenti pareti di roccia.
Il luogo è isolato, immerso in un bel contesto montano; solo, nei giorni infrasettimanali, le cave talvolta disturbano un po' la quiete.
La falesia offre un discreto numero di tiri che si sviluppano su placche, muri, diedri e fessure, interrotti talvolta da sezioni più strapiombanti e da qualche tetto atletico.
Alcuni tiri, specialmente quelli più facili sul sesto grado, sono eccezionali ("me cago en el amor" in primis): lunghi, vari e su ottima roccia, logiche linee granitiche che si sviluppano lungo fessure e diedri; per contro, salendo di grado si perde un po' di qualità: sui tiri più duri infatti vi sono numerose prese scavate.
La falesia è abbastanza assolata, ma vista la quota e la ventilazione del luogo, i periodi migliori per scalare sono le mezze stagioni e i pomeriggi estivi.
Base comoda ma non grandissima, non particolarmente adatta per famiglie con bambini al seguito.
Dopo nevicate e forti piogge, alcune linee su roccia nera potrebbero risultare molto colate.

A crag located at the entrance to the Formazza area, where the valley narrows and forms numerous bastions and imposing rock faces.
The site is secluded, nestled in a beautiful mountain setting; only, on weekdays, the quarries sometimes disturb the peace a little..
The site offers a fair number of routes that wind through slabs, walls, dihedrals and cracks, occasionally interrupted by more overhanging sections and a few athletic roofs.
Some routes, especially the easier ones in the 6th grade, are exceptional (“me cago en el amor” first and foremost): long, varied, and on excellent rock, with logical granite lines that follow cracks and dihedrals; on the other hand, as the grade increases, the quality drops slightly: on the harder routes, in fact, there are numerous chipped holds.
The crag is fairly sunny, but given the elevation and the breeze in the area, the best times to climb are the shoulder seasons and summer afternoons.
The base is convenient but not very large, and not particularly suitable for families with children.
After snowfall and heavy rain, some routes on black rock may be very wet.
