No special access issues
Per arrivare al parcheggio:
Dall'autostrada A5 della Val D'Aosta uscire a Pont S. Martin e raggiungere il paese; da qui imboccare la strada regionale 44 in direzione Gressoney.
Percorrere la valle e, superato Gressoney Saint Jean continuare verso La Trinitè.
Oltrepassati due tornanti e superata una prima breve galleria, appena prima di una seconda galleria svoltare a destra e, appena superato il ponticello, girare ancora a destra entrando in una strada sterrata e percorrerla fino agli evidenti slarghi per il parcheggio. (In alternativa lasciare l'auto a bordo strada appena prima del ponticello e proseguire a piedi).
Avvicinamento:
Dagli ultimi spiazzi per il parcheggio proseguire brevissimamente sulla sterrata superando immediatamente un ponte di legno e reperire, appena dopo, un sentiero sulla sinistra con una piccola sbarra di legno.
Seguire il sentiero per circa un centinaio di metri e imboccare una traccia che si diparte a sinistra (ometto) e sale decisa nel bosco per poi spianare verso destra attraversando dei prati e giungendo in vista della cascata e della falesia.
Proseguire sulla traccia che scende verso la cascata, guadare il fiume (possibilità di bagnarsi, sopratutto a inizio stagione, consigliato portarsi ricambio e asciugamano) e risalire le brevi fisse che conducono alla base della parete.
To get to the parking car:
From the A5 Aosta Valley highway, take the Pont S. Martin exit and drive to the town; from there, take Regional Road 44 toward Gressoney.
Drive through the valley and, after passing Gressoney Saint Jean, continue toward La Trinitè.
After passing two hairpin turns and a first short tunnel, turn right just before the second tunnel and immediately after crossing the small bridge, turn right again onto a dirt road and follow it until you reach the clearly marked parking areas. (Alternatively, park your car on the side of the road just before the small bridge and continue on foot.)
Approach:
From the last parking areas, continue a very short distance along the dirt road, immediately crossing a wooden bridge, and shortly afterward, look for a trail on the left marked by a small wooden barrier.
Follow the trail for about a hundred meters and take a path that branches off to the left (marked by a cairn) and climbs steeply through the woods before leveling off to the right, crossing meadows and coming into view of the waterfall and the cliff.
Continue along the trail that descends toward the waterfall, wade across the river (you may get wet, especially early in the season; it’s recommended to bring a change of clothes and a towel), and climb the short fixed ropes leading to the base of the wall.
