Parking at the heliport area is strictly forbidden.
How to get to the parking area:
From the AP-7 take exit 65 N-332 Benidorm (Levante) / Callosa d’en Sarrià (if coming from the south), or exit 65 N-332 Benidorm (Levante) (if coming from the north). After the toll, take the first exit on the right towards CV-70 La Nucía / Callosa and follow this direction for 7 km. Just before entering La Nucía, you will reach Roundabout 1, easily recognizable by the two large yellow paintbrushes in the center. Take the 3rd exit towards CV-70 Benimantell / El Castell de Guadalest / Alcoi. After 1.9 km, at the third roundabout, take the 3rd exit towards Urbanitzacions. Immediately after leaving the roundabout, take the street on the right (Balcón de Ponoig) and follow it for 550 m. At this point, turn left onto Polígono Pau Nº1 / Camí del Flare and continue straight for 280 m. Here, the road narrows to a single lane; keep going, leaving` a small bridge on your right, and continue until you reach the Ponoig heliport, where the parking area is located.
Approach:
From the parking lot, head to the right side of the water tank and take the ascending path on the left, which runs alongside the tank’s fence (keeping the fence on your left). After about 12 minutes of climbing, you will find cairns marking a small left turn, just below a solitary 20 m rock needle. Take this turn and, after a few meters, pass the needle on your right, heading back in the opposite direction we came from. Continue uphill on this small path until you reach kind of a balcony viewpoint. From here, turn right to reach the climbing sector.
