No special access issues

This is possibly one of the shortest walk-ins on the gritstone. There’s plenty parking, on the left-hand side of the car park, as the right is reserved for quarry staff..Athough it’s usually available on weekends when the quarry is closed. The approach is straightforward, heading from the top left of the car park along a clear path, taking around a minute to reach the first boulder, The Knife.

The car park is also suitable for overnight stays in camper vans. In the village below, a public toilet is open daily from spring through autumn. It’s maintained by the local community after council wanted to close it down, so consider leaving a small donation if you make regular use of it.
