The P is a surprisingly peaceful crag considering its location on the outskirts of Matlock, just above Hall Leys Park. Set a short distance up from the River Derwent, the crag offers nearly 100 mostly vertical limestone lines spread along an featured wall.
A great summer venue, The P provides welcome shade for much of the day, with the added bonus of Matlock town centre only a short walk away if you fancy an ice cream after climbing.
Family-friendly and highly accessible, the crag features flat landings throughout, making it suitable for climbers of all abilities. Several in-situ benches are dotted along the base of the crag, doubling up as useful ladders for checking out the higher sections.
