Per arrivare al parcheggio:
Dall'autostrada di fondovalle uscire a Visp e prendere la "Talstrasse" in direzione Zermatt/Saas-Fee.
Giunti a Stalden la valle si divide: proseguire in direzione Zermatt fino a raggiungere Sankt Niklaus.
Verso la fine dell'abitato, alla rotonda girare a sinistra nella "Talstrasse" e, dopo poche centinaia di metri, sulla sinistra, vi è la sterrata con sbarra da cui parte l'avvicinamento; poco dopo, sulla destra è presente il parcheggio a disco orario segnato in mappa (teoricamente non dovrebbe essere un problema lasciare l'auto tutto il giorno, ma a proprio rischio e pericolo multa; in alternativa, lasciare l'auto in paese e salire a piedi o con l'autobus).
Avvicinamento:
Imboccare la sterrrata con sbarra e, dopo la curva a gomito, prendere il visibile e ripido sentierino che si diparte a sinistra e sale a zig-zag nel bosco.
Dopo svariati tornanti si intravede sulla sinistra la cima della falesia; in prossimità di un ometto abbandonare il sentierino e, per vaghe tracce nel bosco, raggiungerla.
To get to the car park:
From the valley-floor highway, exit at Visp and take the “Talstrasse” toward Zermatt/Saas-Fee.
Once you reach Stalden, the valley splits: continue toward Zermatt until you reach Sankt Niklaus.
Toward the end of the village, turn left at the roundabout onto “Talstrasse,” and after a few hundred meters, on the left, you’ll find the dirt road with a bar where the approach begins; shortly after, on the right, you’ll find the metered parking lot marked on the map (in theory, it shouldn’t be a problem to leave your car there all day, but you do so at your own risk of getting a ticket; alternatively, leave your car in town and hike up or take the bus).
Approach:
Take the dirt road with the bar and, after the sharp bend, take the visible, steep little path that branches off to the left and zigzags up through the woods.
After several hairpin turns, you’ll catch a glimpse of the top of the crag on the left; near a cairn, leave the path and follow faint trails through the woods to reach it.
